NEXT GENERATION ARCHITECTS - RIBA Black History Month

For the RIBA Black History Month event, 3.09 was given the privilege to showcase some of the work we have been doing since the launch of the collective.

As London representatives, Tanatswa Borerwe and I gave a presentation on our recent projects and competitions entries such as the Virtual Reality and Architecture Futures Workshop for the Afrotech Fest 2018, the Antepavilion 2018, the Dulwich Pavilion 2018 and the Cities for the Future Competition 2018.

We also presented visuals from our 'Gender Equity and Cities' conference, which we held at the end of Summer in our self designed and built pavillion. We collaborated with an array of architects and practioners in the built environment including Elsie Owusu and Kate Macintosh, having discussions, debates and workshops on how we could make are cities more equitable.
